Ria picks prime location for new Norway store

“Location, location, location.” It’s the golden rule for Real Estate agents. And a great location can make all the difference to a business’s success.

So we picked a prime location in Norway in which to do business; and it seems the latest addition to our Global Retail Network is already paying off.

The Grand Opening took place in central Bergen, situated on the west coast of Norway. Positioned next to the city’s stunning port, our attractively-located store is already a firm favourite for locals and tourists wishing to make currency exchange, or send money abroad.

Customers who visited the store for our Grand Opening, were treated to the Ria experience, with plenty of prizes and orange snacks on offer.

Costas Zertalis, European Retail Director said of the opening: “The new Bergen store is a fantastic example of Ria’s retail brand. Now customers in Norway have another place to send and receive money, or make their currency exchange. I’m proud of the work we’re doing and it’s satisfying to see happy customers.”

Cristina Estupina, Foreign Exchange Manager Europe added: “Currency exchange is an important part of our business, and the Bergen store is well-located for this. Not only do we serve the local community, we also appeal to the many tourists who pass by our shop – and of course we offer some of the best rates available.”
